Biography

I have been a musician all my life. I originally began my career as a drummer and then as a guitarist. Having formed my own band, I later went on to join critically acclaimed original act Simon Apple during the mid-1990's. I began recording and producing local artists during this time and that eventually blossomed into "The Farm", a premier recording facility located outside of Coopersburg, PA.

Being a musician FIRST and mindful of the 'musician's budget' I offer a professional recording environment using state-of-the-art equipment at the best possible prices. The latest studio upgrade occurred during the summer of 1999 and included purchasing the state-of-the-art computerized and fully automated 24-bit recording environment; Pro Tools version 5.0! Artists like Limp Bizkit, Beck, and too many more to mention here, have utilized the incredible function and power of Pro Tools to "...get that sound..."

Of course, not satisfied with the Top-of-the-line Pro Tools configuration, I added three (3) additional MIX Farm Cards to increase the processing power, enabling more plug-in effects, more tracks, more I/O and more automation!! Also included in the upgrade were the addition of world class Apogee Digital Converters (24-bit); and upgraded interfaces for those converters. Furthermore, there is a vast array of software plug-ins to choose from; Digidesign's ProControl; 18 gig hard drives and the Advanced Intelligent Tape Back-up system. (I back-up all my work twice and store tapes in separate building for added security)

While most studios will charge $100 per hour or more; my rates are currently only $50 per hour and include all reasonable media costs. For more information please contact me by phone or email anytime (24/7) References available upon request.
